FUVAMULLAH WITH ORCA DIVE CLUB

Fuvahmullah is a rock in the middle of the ocean, which plays the role of a huge cleaning station and mating place for big pelagic. Fuvahmullah has ultimate set of sharks which can be seen all year round: Tiger Sharks, Thresher Sharks, Hammerheads, Silver tip, Whale shark, Grey reef, White tip. Big schools of Barracudas; Yellow-Fin Tuna and millions of reef fish surround the local reef daily.The quality of diving isn't affected by seasonal changes, as happens on the rest of the Maldivian atolls. Diving here is always unique and challenging the whole year through. There are more than 15 diving spots around the island, which have a lot of potential for underwater research.

Fresh lakes on the island surrounded by swamps covered with thick layers of peat and mud with Coconut palms, trees and shrubs that grow around.

There are no lagoons on the island, so it is subject to strong waves. The famous pebble beach, which extends from the northern point of the island is a unique characteristic of the island, white glittering pebbles are not found in any other corner of the Maldives.

Orca Dive Club will not be responsible for no diving due to weather conditions, for civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, illness, epidemics, accidents, injuries, damage, loss and theft, quarantine, customs regulations, changes in flight itinerary, delays, deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities and in case of any cancellation or changes to itinerary by the Local Government. For qualified divers, you are expected to be able to dive to a standard as per the certification and experience requirements outlined. You are responsible for your own and your buddy’s safety during the dive.
